  • Coronavirus spread still dominating the greater markets 
  • Largely a relief rally this morning, more than an assurance of better times ahead 
  • Winter wheat ratings fell 1% in Kansas to 46% good/excellent – ratings in Oklahoma increased by 6% to 67% g/e and Texas ratings were also increased to 36% g/e 
  • Texas corn planting rose 1% this week to 29% planted compared to 16% on average planted for this week 
  • Yesterdays NOPA crush numbers came in at 166.3 million bu for February – above average estimate and previous record for February at 154.5 million bu 
  • Ontario has declared a state of emergency until March 31 – how ever premier Doug Ford stated “The vast majority of businesses, including those most vital to day to day life will not be affected by this order”
