- Planting progressed well in the U.S. last week with weather near ideal for planting and wheat conditions
- Corn now 80% planted – almost double last years pace of 44% complete and ahead of average pace of 71%
- Soybean planting surpassed half way at 53% complete also ahead of average pace of 38% and over 3 times more advanced than planting last year
- Spring wheat planting still lagging the 5 year average by 20% sitting now at 60% planted
- Winter wheat conditions slipped a point to 52% g/e – right on pace with average
- European Union wheat exports has increased 64% compared to last years pace
- Chinese buying continues as they work to secure their supply flow before a second wave of coronavirus creates logistical difficulty
