• Rains have subsided in the U.S. and forecast is showing less than what we previously on tap 
• Though the forecast is turning slightly back to a warmer-drier pattern it is hardy enough to spark concern but is offering some support to keep corn from the downward slide we have been in this week 
• Next Tuesday the USDA will release their official planted acres numbers for corn and beans – estimates will begin coming out later in the week
