  • Markets were down overnight but rebounding again this morning
  • Conditions ratings slid further – but not as low as expected 
  • StoneX released their yield estimates bringing the corn and bean crops back to a more comfortable range
    • Official corn yield estimate went from 182.4 bu/ac in Aug to 179.6 bu/ac 
    • Official soybean yield estimate went from 54.2 bu/ac to 52.9 bu/ac 
  • Stats Canada estimated 2020 all wheat production at 35.7 MMT- up 10% from last years production 
  • U.S. crop conditions weekly report
    • Corn down 2 more points to 62% good/excellent – now slipping below average of 66% g/e 
    • Soybeans down 3 points to 66% g/e – still above 5 year average of 64% g/e for this week 
  • The falling American dollar has made their Ag products more attractive to global buyers
