• Markets are mixed this morning after some extreme swings at the end of last week 
• Widespread rains across the weekend – varying amounts of rains have been reported 
  • Even though some areas received very little rain over the weekend there is more optimism for rains in the forecast 
  • Overall even in the areas that received less than expected or less than ideal, it was still at least some moisture to keep them going and 
• Overall production potential is looking better today than it was a week ago with rains received last week and the current forecast 
• This last week shows just how temperamental this market is and just how quickly things can flip 
• We still have a little over a week before the official USDA planted acres report comes out and set the tone for the summer
