  • Markets opening in the green again this morning 
  • U.S. Wheat Quality Council Tour day 1 in North Dakota had average yields for spring wheat at 29.5 bu/ac – compared to 5 year average of 43.3 bu/ac 
    • This reminder to the market place of the deficit in the spring wheat crop is helping to buoy the wheat markets this morning
  • Corn and soybeans are taking a back seat to wheat this morning – trading mostly flat, unsure to push higher due to current heat or take premium out of the market with improving forecasts into August
