• Quiet morning in the grain markets once again as news remains slow with the main discussion this week surrounding the Pro Farmer Crop Tour 
• Day Two of the tour brought them to
  • Nebraska 
    • Corn yields estimated at 182 bu/ac, compared to 5 year average of 175 bu/ac
    • Soybean pod counts were down from both last year and the average 
  • Illinois 
    • Corn yields estimated at 193 bu/ac, compared to average of 174 bu/ac
    • Soybean pod counts were below last years but above the average 
• China seems to use these dips in the soybean markets to put on additional U.S. purchases
