• Rosario Grains Exchange expects Argentina to plant a record amount of corn acres at 19.4 million acres and the lowest amount of soybeans since 2006 at 40.5 million acres this fall for the 2021/22 marketing year

  • Iowa corn yield pegged at 190.8 bu/ac – above average of 182.9 bu/ac 
  • Iowa soybean pod counts also up from both last year and average at 1,218
  • Minnesota corn yield pegged at 177.4 bu/ac below last year and average of 181.4 bu/ac
  • Minnesota soybean pod counts were also below last year and average at 1,027
• Rains looking promising over the Northern Plains and North-West Corn belt over the next 5 days
