- Harvest pressure continuing to hold the markets in the red this morning
- Looks like all harvest activity will be put on hold for about a week here in Ontario with rains on the forecast through Saturday
- Early yield reports from the U.S. seem to be varied for soybeans – hopefully we will start to get a better indication later in the week
- First crop corn planting in Brazil is estimated at 22% complete – the first Brazilian crop is the smaller of the two and primarily used for local feed demand with the Safrinha crop being typically their export crop
- Crop Progress Report
- Corn harvest 10% complete – close to the 9% 5 year average pace
- Soybean harvest 6% complete – same as the average pace
- Winter Wheat planting is now 21% complete – slightly ahead of average of 18%
