  • Quiet Monday morning on the markets – USDA Quarterly Stocks Report out Thursday of this week 
  • New Orleans continues to re-open, with now most facilities back to work 
    • The port will have to quickly get back to loading 90-100 million bu a week to hit export targets 
  • After a harvest filled weekend in the U.S. there is a feeling of disappointment over Eastern Midwest yields  
    • Corn yields seemed to be hampered by disease pressure 
    • Soybeans had trouble developing late forming pods due to August dryness 
  • Thursdays USDA Quarterly Stocks report will report the U.S. stocks as of September 1 – which for corn and soybeans will be the official 2020/21 ending stocks and 2021/22 beginning stocks
