• Markets forging higher after the long weekend saw escalating actions from Russia
• Over the three day break Russia declared two regions in the Ukraine as independent and entered those regions with troops 
  • The U.S. responded immediately by putting sanctions on these two newly defined republics
• Brazils soybean harvest is now 33% complete – analysts predictions on the total crop size will continue to get more and more accurate as harvest rolls on – expecting to see an updated estimate from AgRural this week
• We will continue to watch for headlines out of the Black Sea region and for updates on Brazil’s soybean production to get us through another quiet February week here in Ontario
