- Markets lower going into the last trading session of the week – some traders getting out of the market going into the weekend in case of further escalation over seas this weekend
- Chinese corn imports for February dropped from the previous month but year on year still an 8.4% increase
- International Grains Council raised their global corn production estimate this month by 4 MMT to 1.207 billion MT – wheat was unchanged for 2021/22 at 781 MMT
- Agroconsult pegged Brazilian safrinha corn production at 92.2 MMT – up from 60.9 MMT last season
- Buenos Aires exchange left their Argentine production estimates unchanged at 42 MMT soybeans and 51 MMT corn but are expecting to see further cuts in coming weeks as early harvest indications have been disappointing
