- Nice rains here in Ontario over the weekend offering some timely moisture to the corn crop but slowing wheat harvest for a day or two
- Corn belt also received rains over the weekend, however coming in a little more scattered than they had hoped
- Midwest forecasts are swinging back to hot and dry into the next 10 days
- Friday an agreement was signed between Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the U.N., for a safe passage corridor through the Black Sea for Ukrainian grains – followed shortly by Russian troops attacking the port of Odessa
- It is reported that the strike will not affect planned exports – however the attack has added even more skepticism into how successful this export plan will end up being
