- Markets trading either side of unchanged in a fairly tight range this morning
- Expecting results from the Pro Farmer Crop Tour to start being released later today
- Widespread rains over the weekend beneficial to soybeans production
- Ukrainian Ag officials expecting about 30% of farmers to opt out of planting 2022/23 winter wheat this fall due to lack of financial stability in the grain markets
- This is still speculative at this point and we will continue to monitor the planted acres as they approach their planting window
- There is also concern brewing regarding a possible Russian attack on a nuclear reactor in the Ukraine – bringing back memories of Chernobyl and the dramatic swings it caused in the wheat market
