- The market is mixed this morning.
- Corn and wheat have been able to make some gains.
- Soybeans are seeing some losses.
- Prices trended lower yesterday after the release of the USDA report. The bulls need fed everyday and they lacked fresh news yesterday. Focus will remain on the ongoing growing season in South America.
- Trade will also be interested in the planting intentions in the US Midwest, it is expected that corn will be gaining acres in 2025.
- Unlike Januarys report, yesterdays USDA report was fairly lowkey. There were minimal changes made to the balance sheet. Soybeans and corn were left totally unchanged.
- Only minor changes were made to the US wheat balance sheet; demand was increased by 4mil bu.
- The report had a reduced estimate for Argentina’s corn and soybean crop. The reduction was contributed to hot and dry weather conditions.
