  • The corn and wheat markets are starting the day off in the red, while soybeans trading flat to up.
    • Grains remain under pressure from overall Trump tariffs concerns
  • Flash sales to unknown destinations for the 2024/2025 marketing year.
    • 218,604mt of corn 
    • 20,000mt of soybean oil. 
  • Brazil’s CONAB increased their soybean crop forecast to 167.37mmt vs. 166.01mmt last month. Soybean exports estimates were bumped to 105.74mmt vs 105.4mmt. 
  • Exports Sales
    • Corn sales came within expectations at 38.1mbu, down 7.3mbu from the ten-week average.
    • Bean sales were good for the week with 27.6mbu, coming in just above expectations. 
    • Wheat was the big story for the week, with 28.8mbu in sales. This was well above expectations and more than double the ten-week average. 
  • Weather Update
    • Argentina will be mostly dry in the next week-plus rains shifted out to the north into early next week. 
    • Brazilian rains were scattered in the north again over the past 24hr, holding center-north.
