- Friday grain markets closed in the red, after having a positive trading week.
- Privates estimates are showing that Brazilian corn production is rising due to high early yields. One company reported that total production is estimated at 140mmt, up 10mmts from the May WASDE.
- There is a lot of converasations around Russias wheat crop and how much they are going to export. The U.S Department of Agricultre is forecasting Russia will produce 83million tonnes and export 45 million tonnes while SovEcon is estimating 81mmt of production and 39.7mmt of exports. Many market participants are not agreeing with the USDA’s large numbers.
- The Rosario grain exchange reported on Friday that Argentina wheat harvest could tick up as weather and soil conditions are favourable. The 2025/26 wheat harvest could be the second best on record.
