- New Orleans export grain facilities are reopening after the hurricane damage earlier this month
- Five facilities are now open and loading
- There are 68 grain vessels currently in NOLA and FOB vessel export grain values for October remain uncertain.
- A little nerves over what a potential U.S. government would mean to the Ag industry this fall
- We would not get weekly export sales, or crop progress reports, and potentially even missing the October USDA report
- It would be an interesting hurdle through harvest and would lead to even more uncertainty in the markets
- 10-20 Soybean crush plants have been shut down in China in attempts to lower electrical usage to meet government emissions standards
- International Grains Council increased their estimate for global corn production for 2021/22 by 7 MMT to 1.209 Billion MT due to increases in both U.S. and Ukrainian production
- International Grains Council decreased their estimate for global wheat production for 2021/22 by 1 MMT to 781 MMT
- Buenos Aires Grains Exchange pegged Argentina’s corn planting at 8.5% complete rating 79.5% good/excellent so far
